Information Technology Services (ITS) (Wireless Access Configuration, Mapping Drives with OpenVPN, etc.)
BTW – Mapping your H drive is important for many reasons. Consider that you may be selected for a job based on your Unix/Linux skills (i.e. other candidates had none). This position could be on their campus or more likely, off their campus at your home wherever that may be. On day one they will provide you with instructions for accessing the computing resources. Would you rather your 1st experience with accessing secure institutional cloud resources be right here… right now… in this course… or later on your first day on the job when any question will be perceived as ineptitude – :).
Everyone needs to work through these things and learn how to overcome challenges and this is the perfect environment as the instructions should be error free. Having said, this please take the opportunity to see how this material is presented as you will be a manager tasked with training so we need to not only learn the technology but also how to communicate and present it.
